Review: ASUS Eee PC 1001PX
There are many different netbook computers available today that have 10.1-inch display screens. The Asus Eee PC 1001PX has several advantages over the pack. This is the entry-level version of the popular Eee PC series of netbook computers. The 1001PX is just as good as the slightly more expensive versions of this computer. Thus, it is an excellent option.

What To Look For From The ASUS 1001PX
Most people who buy these types of computers, look to them to do those typical, basic computing tasks, such as surfing the internet, reading email, and performing basic word processing and/or number crunching in a spreadsheet. The ASUS 1001PX is able to handle those types of tasks incredibly well.
The computer comes equipped with 1 GB or RAM. Many people have been adding another 1 GB or RAM. We agree with this. The performance of this netbook is dramatically improved by adding this additional 1 GB of memory.
How's the Battery Life?
This computer has a reasonable battery. The battery life on this netbook computer is not as good as some of the other ASUS models. It allows you to get up to 4 hours of usage without having to either replace the battery or plug the computer into an electrical outlet. So, it's not the best, but it has reasonable battery life.
How Much Does It Weigh?
The computer weighs 3.4 pounds. While it is not the lightest computer available today, it is relatively lightweight as compared to most of the comparable models.
Any Issues?
Other than the so-so battery life, some people have complained that this computer can get a little warm. However, we have not seen this to be a problem. When you compare this netbook to others, most people will find that this really isn't an issue.
